ISLAMABAD:Senate was informed on Friday that total foreign exchange received in the country through Roshan Digital Account (RDA) was $ 1,700 billion as of July 12, 2021.
Replying a question in Senate session, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammmad Khan said that currently, there was no proposal under consideration of the federal government to introduce poymer banknote.
“State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), as its role as the sole issuer of banknotes in the country was constantly evaluating new technologies, including polymer substrate, to improve the security of our banknotes,” he said.
