LAHORE: On the directions of DIG Operations Lahore Dr Abid Khan, search operations were being carried out on daily basis across the city to maintain law and order. During the search operations, 1064 houses, 6383 people and 764 tenants were checked while 82 shops, 6 truck stands and three hostels were screened. A heavy contingent of police also checked all hotels and inns around Data Darbar. Those staying in hotels without registration were questioned. A complete check was carried out especially in the city division. The stalls around the Data Darbar were also removed. Eighteen suspects were arrested during the search operations. The DIG Operations said that no one would be allowed to stay in hotels, guest houses or inns without registration.
