BUREWALA:The district administration have retrieved 20 acre state land worth tens of millions rupees from land grabbers during the ongoing operations against illegal occupiers of state land here on Saturday.
In line with special directives of provincial government, Assistant Commissioner Bilawal Ali along with officers of revenue department launched an operation at Chack No 49-KB and retrieved the state land.
The team also demolished illegal constructions over the grabbed land. The state land was occupied by two groups of land grabbers from last many years.
Speaking on the occasion, AC Bilawal Ali said that operation against land grabbers would be continued without any discrimination as per orders of the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar.
He said that CM Buzdar himself was monitoring the operation and added that every inch of state land would be retrieved from the illegal occupants.
