PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Energy and Power, Taj Muhammad Rind here Tuesday said Rs15 billion per annum would be saved after construction 300 megawatt hydropower project (HHP) on River Kunhar at Balakot in Mansehra district.
“The payment to land owners would be made as per the prescribed rules and regulations and no injustice would be made with anyone, ” the CM special aide said while presiding over a high-level meeting about design of the project here.
Taj said the project being constructed with financial assistance of Asian Development Bank would generate clean and inexpensive energy for domestic, agriculture and industrial consumers.
Matters related to disbursement of payment procedure to land owners came under discussion. Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Population Welfare Syed Ahmed Hussain, Secretary Energy and Power, Muhammad Zubair Khan and others senior were also present.
