LAHORE:On the directions of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, 423-kanal state land worth over Rs120 million has been retrieved in Kot Addu.
The operation was led by Assistant Commissioner Amir Mahmood, said a handout issued here.
Those occupying the government lands did not deserve any leniency, the chief minister warned and added that a data bank of retrieved properties was being maintained.
The operation will continue till retrieving every inch of the state land from the squatters, he maintained and announced plans to build a university over recovered land.
