SARGODHA: The District administration on Tuesday retrieved 574 kanals of illegally occupied state land with a total value of Rs 150 million from land grabbers here.
A spokesman of district administration said that Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Muhammad Asghar Joyia came to know that some influential people of chak 57 NB had occupied 574 kanals of government lands.
Assistant Commissioner Sargodha Umar Daraz Gondal , along with police and officials of Revenue department , retrieved the occupied state land.
District administration spokesman said that government land was being retrieved from grabbers as per instructions of the Punjab government.
