PESHAWAR: The 6th KP Jiu Jitsu Championship organized by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Jujitsu Association will be played at Hayatabad Sports Complex from September 17 (Friday), for which the association has completed all preparations.
This was stated by Secretary KP Jujitsu Association Tehseen Ullah Khan while talking to reporter here on Thursday. He said, teams from Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Divisions will participate in the Championship which will continue till September 18.
He said that after this Women’s Championship will be held soon. He said that preparations have been completed for this Championship and the arrival of the teams from all other six Divisions would be completed by Thursday evening.
He also thanked Director General Sports KP Asfandyar Khan Khattak for extending all out support to the Association for the successful holding of the Championship wherein more than 100 players would vie for the top honour in different weight categories.
He said the players would be provided good accommodation and food as well during the Championship.
