MULTAN:Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) South Punjab Saqib Zafar on Thursday while paying homage to martyrs of APS Peshawar said that they can never be forgotten.
In a statement issued here, the ACS stated that December 16 was a black day in the history of the country.
He said the wounds of the APS tragedy were very deep but this incident united the whole nation and the security agencies made a new commitment.
Zafar said that he pays tribute to the Armed Forces for their successful fight against terrorism. Today, rule of law prevails over every inch of Pakistan, he informed.
Terrorism, extremism and fanaticism have no place in Pakistan, the ACS concluded.
