RAWALPINDI:District Council Rawalpindi taking action against illegal construction has sealed two commercial plazas in Mandra and Daultala areas of Gujar Khan.
According to a district administration spokesman, the authorities concerned on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Muhammad Ali took action in accordance with the law against the rules violators.
He informed that the administration on the directives of the DC had already sent a reference to Anti-Corruption Department for legal action against the owners of the plazas.
The spokesman said that Assistant Commissioner, Gujar Khan after taking action also sent a report to the Anti-Corruption Department.
The DC had warned the rules violators of strict action saying that no one would be allowed to violate the rules, he said adding, indiscriminate action against illegal and unauthorized construction would continue.
