KARACHI:On the directives of Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Karachi Imran Yaqoob Minhas and Deputy IGP Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, a door step facility for police officers and their families has been initiated to administer COVID-19 vaccines at their homes.
The decision has been made for the convenience of police officers and personnel’s families so that they can be vaccinated and be saved from the contagious coronavirus, said a news release on Wednesday.
Expressing his views, Maqsood Ahmed said police personnel perform duties round the clock in shifts and sometimes, it becomes difficult for them to get vaccinated themselves and their families. In view of the fact, a door step facility of COVID-19 vaccination is being started.
