FAISALABAD: The Akhuwat Microfinance Bank distributed Rs 6 million cheques among 132 people at the FESCO central mosque here on Tuesday.
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engr Bashir Ahmed appreciated Akhuwat initiative of providing interest-free loans to the deserving and poor people. He said Akhuwat had provided interest-free loans under the Ehsas programme to millions of people so far.
Member Standing Committee Dr Khalid Mehmood Shouq, Khalid Mehmood, former chairman APTMA renowned industrialist Ch Habib Gujjar also addressed the function.
Akhuwat has distributed Rs 150 billion among 4.5 million families so far while its recovery has been 100 per cent.
