LAHORE: The Board of Revenue (BoR) retrieved more than 15 acres of state land valuing Rs 230 million in its latest drive in the last 48 hours in Khanewal, Multan and Sahiwal with the assistance from deputy commissioners concerned.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar said more than one-acre state land valuing 210 million in Sahiwal, more than 12 acres land valuing 20.2 million in Khanewal and more than 2-acre land having a market value of sic million in Multan have been recovered from various illegal occupants.
As much as 188, 000 acres of state land has been recovered in a province-wise drive. The total value of the land is Rs 473 billion, he said and added that recovery of all the state land by December 31 this year is a target of the government.
