MULTAN:Managing Director WASA Nasir Iqbal urged the citizens to avoid throwing sacrificial animal waste into the sewerage lines on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
MD WASA expressed these views in his message for citizens and paying visit to review drainage arrangements here on Tuesday.
He said that throwing animal waste into the sewer lines would not only make the environment polluted rather create hurdles in smooth drainage system.
He said that uninterrupted provision of water supply and drainage services would be provided during Eid days as the Eid vacations of all operational staff have been cancelled.
Mr Nasir said that the citizens could register their complaints regarding WASA at central complaint cell number 1334 and assured quick redressal of complaints.
He directed all officials and staff to remain high alert due to the prediction of rains during Eid days.
