RAWALPINDI: Provincial Minister for Local Government and Community Development (LG&CD) Punjab Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed Tuesday directed Secretary LG&CD to suspend Chief Officer (CO) Municipal Committee, Murree for negligence in discharging his duties.
During his visit to Murree, the Minister expressed displeasure over the poor cleanliness arrangements at the hill station.
He asked the officials concerned to perform their duties diligently and warned that no negligence would be tolerated in any case
The Secretary LG&CD as per directions of the Minister issued the orders of suspension of Chief Officer, Ghulam Qamar on account of inefficiency and misconduct under section 6 of the PEADA Act, 2006 with immediate effect.
