MULTAN:Commissioner Multan Division Dr Irshad Ahmed inspected ongoing schemes in tehsil Mian Channu and directed officers concerned to ensure use of quality material and completion of schemes within stipulated time period.
He visited Government Union High School, Government Elementary High School, Trauma Centre and another two one-way roads in the city.
Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Sherazi briefed the Commissioner that Trauma Centre was being constructed with cost of Rs 80 million. It would be completed in the ongoing year. Rs 3.2 million are being spent on construction of classrooms in Government Girls Elementary School. Dual road from Mian Channu entrance to vegetable market will be completed with cost of Rs 200 millions.
He also apprised that dual road between Mian Channu to Abdul Hakeem is also under-construction with cost of Rs 2.3 billion and it would be completed within two years. The Commissioner also instructed the officials for quality audit of the development schemes.
