HYDERABAD: Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Abbas Baloch Wednesday directed the concerned officers to prepare a comprehensive roadmap in collaboration with all stakeholders to enhance attraction of historical and recreational places of Hyderabad.
A comprehensive pamphlet highlighting the importance and history of these places should be printed so that the same could be attracted to visitors and tourists, the Commissioner emphasized this while presiding over a meeting here at his office on Wednesday about promotion of historical and tourist places of Hyderabad.
The meeting attended by Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Fuad Ghaffar Soomro, Assistant Commissioner Latifabad Saima Fatima Ahmed, officials of Culture Department and concerned officers was informed that the administration in collaboration with the culture department and management of a local hotel has decided to promote tourism in the district and under the said initiative, a group of
tourists will visit Hyderabad on November 14, 2021.
He directed the officers of the culture department to put up a short history board with the names of these historical and archeological sites and also depute a well informed tourist guides with the visitors so that they can share all available knowledge about the places to the tourists.
He also directed that traditional foods should be arranged in breakfast and lunch of the tourists and also make arrangements of organizing musical programs and stalls of handicraft at these places.
