ISLAMABAD:COMSTECH and INHA University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan Monday agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for establishing OIC collaborations in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This was conveyed during an online meeting between the two departments.
The meeting was arranged by COMSTECH (OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation) with the Rector of Inha University Dr Muzaffar Djalalov and his team.
The meeting was part of the efforts to promote collaborations and capacity building in the field of Artificial Intelligence and IT in OIC member states.
COMSTECH was represented by Dr. S. K. Hasanain, Adviser COMSTECH and Mr. Haris Akram, Programme Manager COMSTECH.
COMSTECH offered Inha University, as a flagship AI institution of Uzbekistan, to become a member of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence.
It was also decided that COMSTECH and Inha University would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enable cooperation and coordination in organizing joint activities with other OIC institutions and member states.
