MULTAN:City Police Officer (CPO) Khurram Shahzad Haider inaugurated tourist patrol force at Qasim Fort Park for facilitation of tourists here on Saturday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, CPO Khurram Shahzad Haider said that it would be the only patrol force of the province. He said that protection and facilitation of tourists would be the main focus of the patrol force. He said that officers of the force would patrol at Qasim Fort Park and adjacent areas through horses and by foot.
The city police officer added that the unique idea of the tourist patrol force would become an examplary force.
The citizens have also lauded the idea of patrol force at the Qasim Fort Park and said that it would provide sense of security to tourists.
SSP Operations Capt (rest) Amir Khan Niazi, SP City Rao Naeem Shahid, DSP Headquarters Namreen Munir and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
