Lodhraan:A notorious dacoit was allegedly killed by the firing of his own compliance’s during police encounter here on Friday.
According to Police, three armed motorcyclists looted a motorcycle and Rs, 75500 cash from two citizens namely Aqeel and Iqbal near Pul Chistiwala in premises of sadder police station.
The local people chased dacoits while dacoits opened fire on locals.
Police reached on the spot .
Police sources said that one dacoit was killed by the firing of his own accomplices while two were managed to escape from the scene.
The killed dacoit was identified as Muhammad Asif S/o Muhammad Bashir Ahmed who was ring leader of the Inter -provincial dacoit gang.
He was also wanted by the police in various heinous crimes. The accused was also most wanted in murder of a trader named Mujeeb ur Rehman during dacoitry.
Police teams were constituted for arresting fleeing dacoits.
