NAWABSHAH:A high flood wave of 1,60,000 Cusecs in Indus River would pass through the jurisdiction of District Shaheed Benazirabad within two or three days .
This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Abrar Ahmed Jaffar. DC issued directives to Assistant Commissioners taluka Sakrand and Taluka Qazi Ahmed to issue flood warning in ravine areas.
He also directed Assistant Commissioners and officials of the irrigation department to ensure the surveillance of the protective embankments of River Indus.
