BAHAWALPUR:A 9 members delegation from the 32nd Mid-career Management Course of National Institute of Management Lahore called on Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Capt (retd) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal at his office on Wednesday.
The delegation was led by Additional Director Sadia Naseem Ghazala. Commissioner briefed the trainee officers about the historical, geographical and cultural background of Bahawalpur.
He apprised the delegation about the economic and social development and future prospects of the area. He discussed development projects, the situation of law and order and the promotion of tourism in the region.
Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Irfan Ali Kathia, Additional Commissioner Revenue Tariq Mehmood Bukhari, Additional Commissioner Coordination Faisal Atta Khan, Managing Director Cholistan Development Authority Dr Saifullah Bhatti and officers of divisional and district administration were also present on the occasion.
