PESHAWAR: Senior Minister for Food, Science and Information Technology, Atif Khan on Tuesday said that paperless, e- governance system would be completed in three phases by June 2023.
He said that concerned authorities have to expedite paper work and formalities relating to digitization of government departments.
Talking to reporter, he said that ten public departments would be digitized in initial phase of the project and after wards paperless and digitization system would be implemented in remaining departments .
Atif Khan said provincial government was committed to upholding transparency and meritocracy through government affairs effective use of technology and digitalization process.
The minister said that digitization would not only save time but it would also help improving efficiency and productivity of government departments.
Atif Khan said that automation of government affairs, establishment of facilitation centres and imparting advanced digital skills to youth are flagship projects of government adding steps have been taken to timely compete these projects for public facilitation.
He said that food department was also working on digitalization of all its warehouses to wipe out corruption from the department.
He said on the special directives of Chief Minister , model citizen facilitation centres are being set up in at all divisional headquarters.
These citizen facilitation centres would provide multiple services to citizens under one roof that include domicile certificate, NIC Card, birth certificate, form B, driving license, arms license, land transfer and other key services.
