TANK:District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada visited Jandola Police Station and met with the members of Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) and urged them to show seriousness in resolving public disputes.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sub-Division Jandola Ghazi Marjan, Station House Officer Taus Khan, Line Officer Sharifullah Khan Kundi and elders of the area were also present on this occasion.
DPO said that DRC should play a key role in resolving issues between the parties in accordance with the regional constitution. He said members of the conciliation committee should prioritize the requirements of merit, equality and justice.
He assured full cooperation to DRC members to take the reconciliation committee seriously in resolving public disputes.
Meanwhile, on the directions of DPO, SHO Gomal Police Station Fahim Mumtaz Khan arrested two accused Sher Khan and Zeshan wanted to police and recovered arms and narcotics from their possession.
