ISLAMABAD: Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar on Thursday said the dry docking of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal had been completed and the original Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) restored.
In a tweet, he said this time the task had been completed ahead of the scheduled time, adding there was just a 66-hour gas curtailment in some sector that was being restored from Thursday night. So there would be ‘zero interruption on the power side.’
The minister appreciated the teams of Sui Southern Gas Company and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Power and Petroleum Divisions for this achievement, saying “Well done SSGC, SNGPL & Power/Petroleum Division teams.”
