ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday announced the schedule for delimitation of constituencies for holding local government (LG) elections in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Under the schedule issued, preliminary lists of Union Councils/wards would be completed from November 25 to Dec 24.
Preliminary lists of Union Councils/ward would be published on December 27. Concerned voters could file objections from December 28 to January 11 before delimitation authority.
The disposal of objections would be done by delimitation authorities from Jan 12 to Jan 26.
The decisions of delimitation authority would be conveyed to delimitation committees from January 27 to February 02.
The final publication of the lists of constituencies/wards would be done on February 03.
