MIRPUR [AJK]: The election campaign has been accelerated by all political parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) as long as the returning officers have disclosed the list of eligible candidates.
Since the day, the AJK Election Commission has announced the general elections-2021’s schedule, the election campaign was getting momentum with traditional zeal and fervor throughout the liberated valley.
All major political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Peoples Party, Jamaat-e-Islami and others have fielded their respective candidates for contesting the elections.
The elections are being held on 53 seats including five seats reserved for women and three for technocrats one each reserved for overseas Kashmiris and ulema/mashaikh and professionals.
