MULTAN: The district administration sealed a factory which was engaged in manufacturing soap with animals’ remains at Adda Mahay Wala, old Shujabad road.
In a grand action launched against spread of environmental pollution on Tuesday, a team led by Assistant Commissioner City Umair Mahmood along with the officials of environment department sealed a factory running with the name of AR Soap.
Police arrested three technicians on the spot who were busy in preparing soap.
Factory owner was booked under Environment Act with the respective police station.
At least four big containers were also seized being stuffed with huge quantity of animals’ remains and its fats.
