PESHAWAR:The city police here Wednesday claimed to have arrested five gamblers who were allegedly involved in betting on cards in Dora Chowk and recovered gambling tools besides stake-money from their possession.
Taking action on a tip off, Phandu police team conducted a raid on a house situated in Dora Chowk. During the raid police arrested five people engaged in gambling and recovered stake money from their possessions.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Ibad, Asfandyar, Zeeshan, Salman and Waseem. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
