FAISALABAD:The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has sealed five illegal housing colonies and demolished their structures and boundary walls.
An FDA spokesman said on Wednesday that on special direction of Director General FDA Rizwan Nazir, a vigorous campaign was launched against illicit housing schemes in Faisalabad.
During this drive, FDA enforcement team headed by Estate Officer Imtiaz Ali Goraya sealed five housing colonies including Paradise-I Sammundri, Grand View City, Azafi Abadi Chak No.122 Sargodha Road, Ayesha Garden and Azafi Abadi Chak No.121.
The team also demolished structures and boundary walls, etc. of these schemes besides sealing their sales offices.
FDA spokesman also asked the general public to avoid from purchasing plots in illegal colonies until and unless these colonies were approved by the FDA.
