PESHAWAR: Unknown attackers on Monday threw acid on the face of young girl when she was sleeping in her house.
Police said that the incident took place in the servant quarters of PAF officers mess in the jurisdiction of Kohat Cantonment.
The face of 21-year old Arham Gul was badly burned and was first taken to CMH, DHQ hospital Kohat but later shifted to Peshawar due to critical burn injuries disfiguring her face.
The mother of acid victim, Razia Sultan, registered an FIR against unknown criminals at Cantt Police Station.
Police have taken mobile of the victim girl into custody and started investigation to trace culprits involved in this heinous crime
