HDA, HESCO signed MoU for construction of grid station

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) and Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding here Sunday for construction of a grid station in Gulistan-e-Sarmast housing scheme. The officials of both the organizations signed the MoU at the office of HESCO. Under the agreement, the HDA, which has been developing the low cost housing scheme, will provide 4 acres of land to HESCO for the construction of the grid station which will power 40, 000 households. The authority will also pay for the cost of construction. The HESCO aims to complete the project in 30 to 36 months.
