House retrieved from land grabbers

LAHORE: The police retrieved the house of a man worth millions of rupees from land grabbers and registered a case against the accused in police station Shahdara. As per police,the accused had rented the house of Waheed Akhtar few years back in Shahdara area and, later on, occupied the property. The accused did not pay even rent for more than five years and also tried to become an owner of the house by preparing fake documents. The citizen lodged a complaint against the occupants with the office of Capital City Police Chief few days back. Additional IG Fayyaz Ahmad Dev ordered SSP Discipline Ejaz Rasheed to take immediate action and ensure the retrieval of property and dues of rent. SSP Discipline Ejaz Rasheed retrieved the property and handed over it to Waheed Akhtar besides dues. Today, Waheed Akhtar visited the office of the CCPO and met with the SSP Discipline to express his gratitude over the prompt action.
