ISLAMABAD:A division bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday reinstated President National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Arif Usmani and Chairman Zubair Sumro on their posts while accepting the intra court appeal (ICA).
A two judge bench comprising Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq announced the verdict which was previously reserved by the court after listening arguments from parties.
It may be mentioned here that a single member bench had declared the appointments of Arif Usmani and Zubair Sumro as unlawful and ordered to remove them from the posts. However, an intra court appeal had been moved to the IHC against the decision of the single member bench.
