PESHAWAR:The district Kohat police on Wednesday burned huge quantity of contrabands and destroyed nine handguns that were seized during several operations in district.
According to PRO Kohat police, the Judicial Magistrate Waqar Ahmed and policemen concerned were present while strict security measures were taken on the occasion.
The burned contrabands were included 117Kg hashish, 4Kg heroin, 80 grams of opium, and 197 bottles of liquor. Police also destroyed nine handguns.
