RAWALPINDI:A man was shot dead by two unknown armed men during a robbery at a fuel station in Raja Bazaar here on Wednesday.
The robbers rushed to a petrol pump in Raja Bazaar and took away Rs 15,000 from Bisharat on gun point, leaving him dead who put off resistance during robbery.
After committing crime, the robbers fled from the scene.
A spokesman to CPO informed that heavy contingent of police headed by SP Zia Uddin visited the crime scene and collected evidences besides recording the statement of eyewitness.
Later, the body of the deceased was shifted to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) for autopsy.
Earlier, gang of armed robbers entered into a bank in the vicinity of police station Ganjmandi and also murdered the guard namely Umer when he put off resistance during robbery.
