KARACHI:Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic bank, in collaboration with Sindh Government has launched largest scale COVID-19 drive by setting up a vaccination centre in the city for general public.
The facility is in the city’s central area of F.B. Area, Block-19, at Afghan Ground, which was inaugurated on Saturday by spokesperson of Government of Sindh and Administrator Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab.
It was personally overseen by Meezan Bank’s Founding President and CEO, Irfan Siddiqui.
With a total of twenty-four booths operating from 4:00pm to 12:00am at mid night, the facility will operate seven days a week providing thousands of adults with safer way of getting vaccinated while observing social distancing rules.
