PESHAWAR:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Akbar Ayub Khan has expressed satisfaction over the immunization of employees of his subordinate departments against COVD-19.
He said that general people as well as government employees fully realized the importance of vaccines to prevent the ravages of this fatal pandemic.
As far as LG, E&RD was concerned, he maintained, out of its total 28 thousands officials, the vaccinated employees included 5139 officials of Local Council Board and TMAS, 4416 employees of WSSCs, 3986 of Directorate General of Local Governments, 422 of Local Area Authorities, 328 employees of Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), 101 employees of Local Government Secretariat and 89 others.
The Minister also appreciated the fact that the IT section of the Local Government Department has set up an online dashboard on emergency basis for data collection and data recording of the vaccinated employees while auto monitoring at the high level was also ensured.
