HARIPUR:KP Minister for Local Government Akbar Ayub Khan on Friday handed over 5 million rupees grant cheque to the president District Bar Association (DBA) Haripur Muhubullah Qureshi.
President DBA said that “We are grateful to the provincial government particularly minister LG and Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan for their cooperation”.
He said that Mahmood Khan approved and constructed Judicial Complex Haripur with the cost of 50 million rupees and fulfilled his promises with the people of Haripur.
Speaking on the occasion provincial minister said that 80 per cent work of renovation of Haripur Judicial Complex has been completed while the rest would be finished soon.
Akbar Ayub said that like other departments and sectors provincial government would utilize all its resources to provide speedy justice to the people in the courts.
He further said that it is expected that the lawyer community would also play their role in providing relief to the people.
The Minister said that in the fiscal budget 2021-22 KP government has allocated huge amounts for the judiciary and judicial system.
“We are also committed to bringing improvement in the systems and would
welcome the recommendations and cooperation of the lawyer’s fraternity,”he said.
