MWMC to digitize complaint system

MULTAN:Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has decided to digitize the complaint system the decision was taken during MWMC CEO Muhammad Farooq Dogar’s visit to the Complaints Cell and Control Room here on Thursday.

Company Secretary Muhammad Kabir Khan, Chief Internal Auditor Asif Tahir and Manager Operations Dawood Mukhi were also accompanied by him.Manager IT Imran Khan gave detail briefing to CEO.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Dogar said that the digitalization of the complaints cell was a very good step as citizens could get their complaints registered regarding cleanliness through mobile phones.

He said that user friendly app was essential to further digitize the complaint system.

He directed to get the services of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for preparation of mobile app.

He also directed to set timeline for redressal of grievances regarding cleanliness and those who didn’t resolve complaints within the stipulated time be held accountable.

CEO also inquired a citizen from the Complaints Center and took feedback regarding redressal of her complaint.

According to the data released here, MWMC has resolved total 7946 complaints including 5967 complaints received on Complaint No 1139 and 1979 complaints received on “Khidmat Aapki Dahleez” portal in last year 2021.
