ISLAMABAD:The meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz.
The committee inquired about recent agreement executed with the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and ongoing talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The committee desired briefing by the Ministry of Interior regarding details of the agreement signed by the government with TLP and under process talks with the TTP.
The agenda of the meeting was not discussed and committee decided to postpone the agenda to next meeting.
The meeting was attended by MNAs Sher Akber Khan, Ms. Nafeesa Inayatullah Khan Khattak, Malik Sohail Khan, Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan, Syed Agha Rafiullah, Abdul Qadir Patel and the senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Law and Justice, Capital Development Authority (CDA), Federal Investigation Authority (FIA), ICT Police, Intelligence Bureau, Passport and Immigration, DC Rawalpindi and Frontier Constabulary.
