ISLAMABAD: National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP), in order to facilitate motorists, has ensured multiple service delivery options for recharging M-Tag account through manual and online portals.
The Motorway Police urged all the motorists to immediately ensure M-Tag registration of their vehicles aiming to reduce the time wasted in several kilometer long queues at the toll plazas. Motorway police have made M-tags mandatory at toll plazas to reduce congestion.
The citizens can recharge their M-Tags through their smart phones without visiting the motorway police service centre.
According to NH&MP, there are several options to recharge M-Tag including scratch card recharge, Jazz cash, Easypaisa, UPaisa and M-2 drive customer care centres.
It should be noted that tag can be obtained from M-tag booth at any toll plaza on the motorway.
The easiest way to get M-Tag for vehicle is to head to the M-2 Motorway toll Plaza and visit the M-Tag issuance booth that are installed at the side of the Toll Plaza.
The motorway police said that citizen will not be asked for a vehicle registration book for issuing M-Tags, adding that they can also get M-Tag by showing their identity cards or on personal mobile numbers.
