MULTAN:Nishtar Medical University in collaboration of National Institute of Health (NIH) will establish a state-of -art Microbiology Laboratory to facilitate the patients.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NMI and NIH in this regard which
Vice Chancellor NMU Dr Rana Altaf Ahmed, and a representative of NIH inked.
The VC termed the establishment of Microbiology Laboratory as an important milestone in the prevention and control of infection.
He further said that the setting up of the lab would provide opportunities for not only epidemic diseases research for infection control but also to the post graduate doctors of NMU.
