ISLAMABAD: The National Productivity Organization (NPO) would organize an online session on “Production, Planning, and Control” on Tuesday, October 12.
The training program will impart knowledge on production planning and control which is a work process and involves the organization and planning of the manufacturing process and improves efficiency, coordination, and leverages the production, according to an official document.
Planning and control are essential ingredients of success, it ensures optimum utilization of production capacity.
In this course applicant will learn the basic concepts of production, manufacturing, selection of systems for optimizing inventory, and production management, it added.
The objective of the session is to equip top-line executives with the latest management tools to understand the norms of production management, methods of capacity planning, use quantitative methods of making better decisions as managers, effectively utilize various tools and techniques to improve the products and services in a production environment.
This training would provide information about introduction to production management, process selection and capacity planning, layout planning, cycle time calculation, line balancing, overall effective equipment, material requirement planning, setting production targets, productivity measurements, and work order planning and costing.
The session would be attended by Production Managers, Inventory Managers, Supply Chain Managers, Store Managers, Material Managers, Production Executives, Schedulers, Production Planners, and Executive Member of the Planning department.
