ISLAMABAD:Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD) on Tuesday organized a Mehfil-e-Milad event as part of celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious zeal and fervor.
Secretary PASSD, Muhammad Ali Shahzada chaired the event and highlighted various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
Additional Secretary, Saeed Ahmad Nawaz highlighted the salient aspects of Seerat-ul-Nabi (PBUH) and stressed that the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a beacon of light for all humanity.
Parliamentary Secretary PASS Division, Saif-ur-Rehman said that it was our religious duty to act upon the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) who gave eternal message of peace, tolerance, human rights and love for humanity.
Naat Khawani was also held in the Mehfil-e-Milad and the event was attended by the officers and staff of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division.
