ISLAMABAD:Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) at its Head Office, to keep the deserving students on their educational track.
PBM Managing Director Malik Zaheer Abbas and IIUI President Dr. Hathal Hamoud Al-Otaibi signed the agreement to support the poor students in IIUI.
Addressing the ceremony, Malik Zaheer Abbas said that PBM was leading the country towards a social welfare state as envisioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan, with its eminent pro-poor services like medical treatment of poor patients suffering from cancer, hepatitis, cardiac, kidney dialysis, thalassemia and other diseases, educational stipends for underprivileged students, women empowerment, eradication of child labour, support to disabled persons, provision of education, food, clothing and other basic needs of life to orphan and deprived children, Panahgahs for the needy persons, meals on wheels and so on, said a press release.
Accrediting the humanitarian services of PBM, the IIUI President expressed his gratitude for enabling the deserving students of the varsity to continue their education.
Following that, the PBM Managing Director also signed the agreements with the representatives of Quaid-e-Azam University and NUML University, Islamabad to help out the deserving and promising students studying there.
