PESHAWAR:Provincial Disaster Management Authority and Provincial Reconstruction, Rehabilitation & Settlement Authority (PDMA- PaRRSA) in collaboration with International Donor Agency PHED and Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) have successfully completed 56 water supply schemes in far-flung areas of the district Swat and Buner.
The PDMA spokesperson said that these schemes include the construction of water storage tanks, hand pumps, drinking water supply systems benefiting about 124,355 persons in many villages facing drinking water shortages.
He said that 23 drinking water supply schemes have been completed in district Buner and 33 in Swat.
