MULTAN:Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has decided to organize Chrysanthemum (Gul-e-Daudi) exhibition in the city on Dec 23 (Thursday).
The department has also started preparations of more than 16,000 pots in this regard as two days exhibition will continue till Dec 25 at Zakaria Park. Over 25 color pots of ten types will be offered for decoration in the exhibition.
PHA Chairman Ijaz Hussain Janjua expressed these views while reviewing the preparations of Gul-e-Daudi along with Director Admin and Finance Chaudhry Ghulam Nabi here on Wednesday.
He further said that the exhibition was being organized in the main park of the city and it will provide full entertainment to the people.
The purpose of conducting exhibition at Zakaria Park was to ensure maximum participation of the people in the exhibition.
Janjua said that preparations have also been started for the flower show in March like Gul-e-Daudi.
Likewise, beds and carpets have been prepared for seasonal flowers at Amirabad Park, Arts Council, Fort Qasim Bagh, Zakaria Park and other parks and flowers have also been decorated on green belts, he added.
He said that there will be spring of flowers in the city during Dec to March adding that PHA will also continue conducting traditional exhibitions.
