MULTAN:Petrol pumps of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) and Shell were functional across the division where supply of petrol was continued.
This was disclosed by Divisional Manager Shell Company Muhammad Usman and Manager PSO Laal Khan while holding a meeting with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amir Karim Khan here on Thursday.
The representatives of both companies briefed deputy commissioner that five petrol pumps of Shell and 52 of PSO were functional where oil stock of more than 15 days was available. They said that 350,000 litre oil was being supplied from Sher Shah oil depot on daily basis.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Amir Karim Khan said that petrol pumps would remain functional for public facilitation. He said that there was no shortage of oil in the district adding that the district administration was in contact with petroleum companies for continued supply of oil.
