PTI emerges as single largest party in AJK Legislative Assembly elections

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) has emerged as the single largest political party to form its government in Azad Kashmir with simple majority and promote the vision and mission of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

As per the unofficial election results announced by the AJK Election Commission, the party positions of various political parties have shown that Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) has emerged single largest party in recent elections by obtaining 613590 total votes with the average of 32.05 percent and stood victorious on 25 seats, Pakistan Muslim League-N grabbed 491091 votes with the average of 25.65 percent and won just 6 seats, Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir obtained 349895 votes with average of 18.28 percent but got 11 seats, All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference secured 153861 votes with the average of 8.04 percent and got just a single seat of its President Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, 241 independent candidates obtained overall 133136 votes averaging 6.95 percent and didn’t got even a single seat, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) AJK obtained 94487 votes averaging 4.94 percent without winning any seat, Jamaat-e-Islami AJK secured 28706 votes with the average of 1.5 percent and got no seat, Jammu Kashmir People’s Party acquired 26267 votes with the average of 1.37 percent and succeed in getting one seat and other three small political parties overall got 17000 votes without wining any single seat.
