NAWABSHAH: National disability and development forum (NDF) in collaboration with Indus consortium on Wednesday organized public meeting on adverse effects of Environmental changes.
Speaking on the occasion, the participants said that in order to reduce adverse impacts of increasing climate change, work over implementation on renewable energy projects should be initiated with sound financial assistance of public and private institutions which could be helpful to overcome the flaws of the marginalized segments of society.
They further said that in this regard financial assistance from private sector was highly essential as per national development goals and Paris climate agreement in order to achieve the target set for accomplishment of zero emission.
The participants stressed the need for implementing various environmental laws and protocols exists in the country to achieve desired goals.
Indus consortium appreciated the policy of present government for allocating reasonable amount for executing environmental projects.
